This page explains the cookies and similar browser technologies used by Expat Essentials Poland and how you can control optional analytics and advertising measurement. See also our Privacy Policy.
Essential storage is used for functions such as authentication, security, privacy choices, keeping a report or checkout flow connected to the correct browser, and restoring selected in-progress product state. These technologies are necessary for the feature you requested and are not used for advertising.
When you choose to pay, manage billing or open the Stripe Customer Portal, you are transferred to Stripe-hosted pages. Stripe may use its own strictly necessary cookies and security technologies to process the payment, prevent fraud and operate those pages. Stripe's own privacy and cookie information applies on Stripe-hosted pages.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how EEP is used and improve the service. Analytics are optional and off by default. Analytics storage is not enabled until you choose to accept analytics. We do not intentionally send document contents, case details, assistant messages or free-text notes to GA4.
Advertising measurement is optional and off by default. It starts only after you choose "Accept all" or turn on Advertising in cookie preferences. That choice is separate from analytics. Checkout, sign-in and the rest of the service work if you reject it.
On the production site the Meta Pixel library is not loaded until you accept advertising measurement. If you accept, it loads in the same visit without a reload. If you later withdraw that consent, the loaded library is revoked and stops sending events and storing advertising cookies. With that consent, the Meta Pixel may store _fbp and _fbc cookies and receive page views, product views, checkout starts and purchases (value, currency and product id). Our server may send the same events to Meta's Conversions API, including page views and product views on the MOS package pages, plus a hashed email address when we already know it at checkout or purchase, so the browser and server events can be counted once. The server sends those events only when the advertising choice is on. If a Google ads tag is configured, Google Consent Mode allows ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation only after the same choice. Declining deletes the Meta cookies we set and sets those Google signals back to denied.
On the production site Google Analytics loads in Consent Mode. Until you choose, analytics storage and advertising storage stay denied, so no analytics or advertising cookie is written yet. The first page view can still be sent as a cookieless ping. That ping includes the page path and, only when they are already in the address bar, ad-click parameters (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, gad_source) and campaign parameters (utm). Checkout session ids, email addresses and other query parameters are removed before the ping is sent. While advertising storage is denied, Google redacts ad click identifiers from advertising requests and may pass click information in the link instead of storing an advertising cookie. Analytics cookies are set only after you allow analytics. Advertising cookies are set only after you allow advertising. If you allow analytics after the cookieless page view, one further page view is sent so the visit can be tied to that landing URL.
The banner also sends a consent-mode event to Google Analytics when it is shown, accepted or declined. If analytics is still off, that event is a cookieless ping: the choice (shown, accepted or declined) and the page path, with no email and no query string. It exists so we can see how often advertising measurement is declined.
Use the cookie banner or the available privacy controls to accept or reject optional analytics and advertising measurement. Rejecting them does not block the essential EEP service. Questions can be sent to support@expatessentials.pl.
