Why it matters
File after your visa or card ends and you lose the right to wait for the decision legally in Poland.
A formal defect brings a letter with a 7-day deadline. Miss it and the application is left unexamined.
Official office data for 1 Jan – 30 Sep 2026: decisions on temporary residence took 250–539 days on average (about 8–18 months), depending on the voivodeship. After a refusal you appeal or apply again, and the wait starts over. Estimate your own wait with the calculator →
Why this is different
Most guides explain the form. This pack helps you check whether this is the right procedure for you, coordinate the employer's part, check consistency across your documents and understand what happens after submission.
Temporary residence and work · v1.3
STOP gate and qualification check: is this procedure right for you?
A fillable plan and timeline for your application.
Formal and supporting documents, with a file-naming scheme.
Field-by-field guide mapped to the official form, Parts A–G.
5 documents for HR: a one-page MOS explainer, Annex 1 field map, Annex/contract consistency check, how to fill in and sign, and 3 ready e-mails (PL-EN).
Anonymised, described examples.
Identity, stay, employment and technical checks, then a 10-step send.
UPO, the certificate, a request for documents (wezwanie), work and travel while you wait.
14 templates plus 3 bonus ones, each as DOCX and PDF: e-mails to HR, a reply to a wezwanie, change of address, end of employment, ponaglenie and more.
Version notes and errata.
Also included: an appendix with the 16 voivodeship offices' fee accounts (check before paying), an empty folder structure for your files, sources, and the terms. Official fees (440 zł (temporary residence and work, or an EU Blue Card); 100 zł for the residence card) are paid to the office and are not included in the price of the pack.

How it works
49 PLN in Stripe with BLIK, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No account, no subscription.
A download link (one ZIP) by e-mail, usually within minutes (at the latest 2 working days). Then you file in MOS yourself.
Questions
No. It is an independent guide built on gov.pl and Office for Foreigners rules. You file in the official MOS system yourself.
Gov.pl tells you the rules. This pack tells you what to do field by field, gives ready e-mails for your employer's Annex 1, and checks documents before the final Submit. 49 PLN once.
Non-EU foreigners already in Poland who will work for a Polish employer and want to prepare and submit a temporary residence and work application (zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy i pracę) in MOS themselves. It does not cover study, family or business permits.
No. EEP is an independent guide, not a law firm or a government office. The pack explains public rules from gov.pl and the Office for Foreigners. For a complicated case (refusals, criminal records, return decisions) talk to a lawyer.
After payment you get a download link for one ZIP file (about 3 MB: PDF guides, DOCX and PDF templates, a folder structure) by e-mail, usually within minutes and at the latest within 2 working days. Before paying you confirm, in one box, the request for immediate delivery and that the withdrawal right ends once delivery starts.
The pack covers the temporary residence and work permit only, so check the scope before you buy. If the pack you received is not the temporary residence and work self-service pack described here, or you paid but cannot download it, write to support@expatessentials.pl for a remedy or refund (do not pay again). Your statutory rights for digital content that is not supplied or not as described remain unaffected. Government fees (stamp duty, card fee, power of attorney fee) are never refunded by EEP, and no pack can guarantee a positive decision.
File before your current visa, residence card or visa-free stay ends; a complete application filed on time usually lets you stay until the decision. The free deadline check at the bottom of this page can help if you are not sure of your date.
Not necessarily. File in MOS no later than the last day of your legal stay. 01_MY-CASE-PLAN has a timeline that counts back from that day; start with the employer, because the Annex No. 1 signature usually takes longest. If you are already past that day, this pack is not for you.
Fill in Annex No. 1 (Załącznik nr 1) in MOS and sign it electronically through a person authorised to represent the company. The Employer Pack (04) has a one-page PL/EN explainer, a field map and ready e-mails you can forward to HR.
MOS gives you a UPO (official proof of submission). Download it and keep it with your submitted PDF/XML; 07_AFTER-FILING explains what it does and does not prove.
It depends on your situation, not a blanket yes. Filing does not by itself create a new right to work; 07_AFTER-FILING explains the conditions under which you may continue working.
Be careful: the UPO or the certificate (zaświadczenie) does not replace a visa or residence card for re-entering Poland. 07_AFTER-FILING covers what to check before you leave.
Read the deadline on the letter first. 07_AFTER-FILING explains common letters such as a wezwanie, and 08_LETTER-TEMPLATES has editable replies and an attachment list.
