These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Expat Essentials Poland and the purchase of the Complete Poland Plan. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and, if you buy the plan, the Purchase, Withdrawal & Consumer Rights page.

Expat Essentials Poland is an independent digital information and navigation service that helps you understand and organise the practical processes involved in living in Poland — for example understanding official letters, keeping track of documents and deadlines, and building a personalised plan of next steps.
Expat Essentials Poland is an independent service. It is not a Polish government service, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any Polish public authority, does not represent immigration authorities, is not a law firm, and does not provide professional legal advice or legal representation. For official procedures and decisions, the relevant authorities and official sources are always the authoritative source.
Some features use artificial intelligence and automated processing to help interpret your questions, extract information, explain documents and generate plain-language explanations. Other parts of the service use fixed rules and workflows. AI-generated output can be incomplete or wrong and does not determine any legal eligibility or official outcome. You should verify important information with the appropriate official source or a qualified professional before you act on it.
You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Please provide accurate information and keep material changes in your situation up to date, so the service can give you relevant guidance.
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. An adult parent or legal guardian may provide information about their child or dependent where this is reasonably necessary to use family-related functionality. We do not market the service to children and ask that you provide only the information that is necessary.
Some functionality is available for free. This may include selected tools, limited AI interactions, previews or basic results. The exact free functionality may change over time as we improve the service.
The Complete Poland Plan is a one-time purchase of €9.99. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. It unlocks paid functionality on your account, which may include your complete personalised plan and workflows, persistent case and document context, deadline and case support, and other functionality marked as part of the Complete Poland Plan. Individual features may be improved, changed or replaced over time; we do not promise that every individual feature will exist permanently.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment-card details — these are handled by Stripe. See the Purchase, Withdrawal & Consumer Rights page for full purchase information.
Access to the Complete Poland Plan begins after your payment is successfully completed and confirmed. The plan combines digital content with ongoing digital-service features, and the applicable consumer rules are explained on the Purchase, Withdrawal & Consumer Rights page.
As a consumer you may have a statutory right of withdrawal. Whether and how it applies can depend on the nature of the service, whether performance has begun, and whether you expressly requested and consented to that immediate performance at checkout. This is explained in detail on the Purchase, Withdrawal & Consumer Rights page. We do not remove statutory consumer rights.
Your statutory rights regarding digital content or services that are not as described or do not work as they should remain unaffected. If something is wrong, contact us at [email protected] describing the problem and your account email. We will look into it and respond. We do not impose an artificially short deadline for raising a complaint.
You may provide profile and situation information, upload documents, send messages, and enter information about family members or dependents. You must have the lawful authority to provide any information about another person. You are responsible for the content you submit.
Deleting an uploaded document removes the stored file and its extracted text according to the current behaviour of the service. However, confirmed facts, interpretations, case events, deadlines or information that has already been incorporated into your plan or case history may remain, because that plan/case memory is kept separately from your raw files. Deleting your account is the broad deletion mechanism and removes your associated data, subject to any information we must keep by law. If you need broader deletion or correction, use the account “Data & Privacy” controls or contact us.
We may improve, update, replace or discontinue individual features. We will not use this to remove access you have paid for in a way that disregards your mandatory consumer rights.
Please do not use the service for anything unlawful, do not abuse or try to gain unauthorised access to it, do not attempt automated attacks or to compromise the service, and do not upload content you do not have the right to provide.
Expat Essentials Poland provides information and organisational tools and is not a substitute for professional legal advice or official decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for outcomes that depend on authorities, third parties or information you provide. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of habitual residence that apply to you. Nothing here requires you to use arbitration.
